Speaking of sporting events, some of the rooms have a nice view of the Philadelphia stadiums or the Philly skyline. This hotel/casino is a great option if you want to stay in Philadelphia to attend a sporting event or to check out the local culture. The casino is pretty good, not the quality of Atlantic City, but pretty good. Our room was clean, but my only complaint about this place at all was that the room had not been used in a while after being cleaned and there was a few dust bunnies on the floor. I’m starting to get used to the idea of giving up on carpeted rooms and convincing myself that hard floors in a hotel room are more sanitary. In fact, there are many thoughtful amenities here, such as the high quality of the towels and the soaps, a bench by the closet to put on your shoes, ample places to charge, two phones, and a barn door for the bathroom. This hotel/casino checks all those boxes. Those things are easy parking, a safe in the room, large glass shower, flatscreen TV, and a sitting area.
If you’ve read any of my other reviews, you know there are certain “musts” that a room has to have in order to get a good rating for me.
